Honestly, I was going to copy and paste the same biography I use everywhere else. Not here.
You made it to my website, so first, thank you. Whether you just discovered my music or came back to see whether something new dropped, I appreciate you being here.
I hate writing biographies almost as much as I hate talking on the phone. I’d rather let the music speak for me. But there’s one thing you should know: sytE stands for Speak your truth every time.
That’s what I’m trying to live by.
My music comes from real moments: my relationship with God, the good, the bad, the ugly, and the skeletons I’d rather keep in the closet. I’m not interested in pretending I have everything figured out or forcing every struggle into a clean resolution. Sometimes I’m writing from the other side of it. Sometimes I’m still right in the middle.
A lot of this journey has been about finding my way back to who I was before I started caring so much about what everyone thought of me and becoming the person God is calling me to be now.
My goal is simple: tell the truth, be myself, and leave this world without regretting how much of me I kept hidden.
This is a journey. You’re welcome to come along. Just leave the negativity at the door.
